Radiant vs Magnetic aura energy: how your energy moves.
In the AuraColorTest framework, direction does not mean extrovert or introvert. It describes the first motion of your energy: outward expression or inward pull.
Expresses, projects, initiates, clarifies, and makes the inner state visible.
Draws inward, observes, absorbs, reflects, and creates presence without pushing.
Radiant does not always mean loud
Radiant energy can be gentle, precise, or quiet. A Radiant Blue person may not dominate a room, but they will often give language to what others are avoiding. A Radiant Pink person may not be forceful, but their care is visible, warm, and openly offered.
The key is projection. Radiant energy tends to move something from the inside to the outside: a feeling, a decision, a vision, a boundary, or an invitation.
Magnetic does not always mean passive
Magnetic energy can be powerful. It may not announce itself quickly, but it changes the room through attention, depth, and gravity. A Magnetic Red type can be extremely intense; they simply concentrate that fire instead of broadcasting it immediately.
The key is pull. Magnetic energy draws information inward first. It notices, waits, absorbs, and then responds from a more private center.
Radiant and Magnetic compared
| Area | Radiant pattern | Magnetic pattern |
|---|---|---|
| Social presence | Signals energy quickly. Others notice the mood, opinion, or intention early. | Creates pull through stillness, attention, depth, or quiet intensity. |
| Conflict | More likely to speak, act, clarify, challenge, or move the situation forward. | More likely to observe, absorb, wait, read the room, and respond after processing. |
| Creativity | Externalizes ideas through expression, performance, leadership, or visible output. | Collects impressions internally and turns them into focused, layered work. |
| Stress | May overextend, overtalk, push too hard, or try to fix everything at once. | May withdraw, hold too much inside, or become hard for others to read. |
Same color, different direction
Direction explains why two people can share a color but feel very different in daily life.
| Color | Radiant version | Magnetic version |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Radiant Green often protects, organizes, checks in, and makes care visible. | Magnetic Green often heals through presence, steadiness, and quiet emotional attunement. |
| Blue | Radiant Blue speaks truth with calm authority and clear language. | Magnetic Blue listens deeply, reflects, and may need time before speaking. |
| Red | Radiant Red is visibly bold, active, and direct. | Magnetic Red holds intensity in reserve and moves only when the moment is right. |
A quick self-check
You may lean Radiant if you usually feel better after expressing, moving, naming, creating, or confronting. You may lean Magnetic if you usually feel better after observing, absorbing, reflecting, filtering, or waiting for the right moment.
Most people can use both modes. The test result identifies which mode appears more often across your answers, especially when relationships and stress are included.
